It is possible that the Chinese fielded below 16 gymnasts to get the gold. It is not very difficult to verify the age of these gymnasts. If they are found guilty of cheating obviously the medals would be snatched back. But the Chinese will do everything possible to block this.

There is a child abuse concern while training gymnasts for competitions. It involves great physical strain, discipline and sacrifice to become a top gymnast. To make 14-yr-old girls ready for Olympics and get gold too means at least 6-8 years of training. Just imagine their ages when they started to train.
